Agreement In Principle Details For Vote

sstuwa-anne-rallyMembers have endorsed acceptance of the ‘In-principle’ Agreement.

The Department has been advised and the Union expects that the Agreement will be registered in the WAIRC early next week.

75% of votes received by COB 16 March 2012 supported acceptance of the proposed Agreement.

Over 40% of branches had voted by COB 16 March 2012, and results continue to be received at the union office.

Once the Agreement is registered the Union will proceed to print a replacement ‘little red book’, update information pamphlets, revise Union Rep training modules and set in place various processes required to ensure the implementation of the new Agreement is being carried out.
